The Community Celebrates Three Sets of Twins Delivered in Five Days

Latina Community Health Services (LCHS) is proud and happy to announce the recent successful delivery of three sets of twins in five days. We are thrilled to see the three mothers and six babies doing well at home. The management of these complicated pregnancies is a great accomplishment—the result of a multidisciplinary approach involving volunteers, nursing and medical students, nurse practitioners, liaison nurses, social workers, diabetic educators, physicians, members of the community, and a coordinated effort between LCHS and Pennsylvania Hospital services.

On Saturday, March 17, the Puentes de Salud Women’s Group participated in a hands-on cooking class led by executive chef Claudio Soto at Tequilas Restaurant. The class focused on easy and healthy Mexican recipes that the women could make at home for themselves and their families.
